I’m Joseph Lane, founder and CEO of Mortgage Lane. I’ve spent 9 years in UK mortgage finance, helping people get approved from first-time buyers to self-employed borrowers who don’t fit the standard lending boxes.

Before starting Mortgage Lane, I owned my own letting agency, which I later sold, then worked as a finance broker from 2017. That gave me significant insight into property investment mortgages for buy to let and commercial investors.”

Since founding Mortgage Lane in 2021, I’ve focused on specialist Buy to Let, Development Finance, Bridging, HMO, Serviced Accommodation & Holiday Lets, second charges, and mortgages for properties owned in Trust, including offshore trusts.
