# Ben Reese

Chief Financial Officer at Mortgage Lane.

Chief Financial Officer

I'm Ben, Chief Financial Officer and I focus on advising and growing Mortgage Lane's financial performance, while also providing hands-on support to the internal team and our national network of brokers. I work with investment clients, from traditional buy-to-lets through to commercial properties including retail, offices, hotels, and care homes, with a particular focus on auction purchases and helping clients secure bridging finance to complete in as little as four days. I've been in the industry for five years and hold a bachelor's degree in business management from Cardiff University.

What I enjoy most is problem-solving. There's nothing better than overcoming a challenging set of circumstances and achieving a great outcome for a client.

Outside of work, I enjoy walks with my dog Rufus and good food. I visit Thailand annually to see extended family and love a trip to France for the cuisine too. My partner and I go to a lot of live music: recent gigs include Marcus King, Souls of Mischief, Jungle, and Hot 8 Brass Band, a real mixture!
