# Tom Wells

Mortgage Adviser at Mortgage Lane.

Operations Manager

I'm Tom, Mortgage Adviser at Mortgage Lane. I look at each customer's circumstances and needs to recommend the right mortgage solution for them, advise on the terms, apply for the mortgage, and package the case. I liaising with underwriters to get offers produced as quickly as possible, then working with solicitors to get to completion as smoothly as I can. I help a broad range of clients, from personal residential mortgages to limited company and personal name BTL, bridging, and commercial cases. I've worked in banking and mortgages since 2018, starting out in an entry-level role and working my way up to where I am now. I'm CeMAP-qualified. What I enjoy most about the role is sourcing the right products for customers and working out exactly what criteria needs to be met to get the best outcome for them. Outside of work, I have two dogs, I enjoy travelling when I can, and I'm a big fan of country music.
