Compliance and Network Director
I'm Jonathan, Director of Compliance and Network at Mortgage Lane. I own the firm's compliance function end to end, regulatory oversight, policy, file quality assurance, and financial crime and I lead the network side too, covering onboarding and oversight of our appointed representative firms and self-employed brokers. I'm one of the firm's main points of contact with the FCA, and I run our Training and Competence scheme, including the pathway to Competent Adviser Status. I've spent over 15 years in financial services, with previous roles at HSBC, Lloyds, Mercer, Deloitte, and PwC, and I'm bilingual in English and French.
What I enjoy most is strengthening our compliance framework and seeing people progress from trainee through to Competent Adviser Status.
Outside of work, I love dancing, martial arts, the gym, mountain biking, and riding my motorbike in summer, and I enjoy travelling and learning about new cultures.
